I'd say I'm okay with being up here, for the most part. But things haven't really progressed much past that point. I really wish I didn't have internet access.

Sometimes Dave Brubeck reminds me of the smell of old bookstores in the Upper East Side. Sometimes I want to live in a 1970s romantic comedy.

It's very difficult to be genuine here. Do people really respond to openness? I don't know how to make friends.

So, I'm here... in Canada. I have a very sweet roommate and I've been going out and drinking every night. I'd like to see how well I'll be able to create a new social realm for myself, in addition to, you know, (at least) passing school. Hah.

It seems even the leaves in Innsbruck are changing already. The call of academia...! I've had what was supposed to be the summer of a lifetime (Innsbruck, Barcelona, Figueres [Dalí Museum], Cannes, Paris, Venice [Biennale], Tuscany) but I've been distracted by the thought of the NEAR future. I used to joke about moving to Canada. HA. And now I'm looking up photos of my dorm (an old Nunnery) and downtown Montréal every chance I get, trying to imagine my living away from my family.
I had my photos from my two-week trip with Loretta developed. The quality is similar to the video above. uwpoierkadl'a;wr I now entirely regret buying a Lomo - it has turned out to be a purchase that was purely about the novelty of the object. All it is really good for is Soviet snapshots.

So, in the end, I'm rather pleased with the schools I got into:
Pratt Institute: Accepted + $6,000 a year Concordia University: Accepted Lesley University: Accepted UMASS Amherst: Waiting for an answer... like I care? Heh... University of Vermont: Waitlisted Green Mountain College: Accepted + $7,000
Now I've cut it down to the top three; Pratt, Concordia or Lesley... What do you think? Keep in mind... Pratt is mad expensive but in BK. Concordia will allow me to learn a third language and Lesley is... near Kelley. Just one perk per school. Talk amongst yaselves. Please?

The second semester has begun... I have two newly acquired hours of free time a day because I finished "American Government & Politics." The college application process isn't going well. Anyone want to live with me in Brooklyn for internships?

That is all.

It's time to give this a third try. Aber, im moment, bin ich total faul. Bis später... oder früher. Qui sait?
